Penguatan Literasi dan Numerasi Berbasis Kearifan Lokal bagi Guru SD di Nagari Pagaruyung, Tanah Datar, Sumatera Barat

Urgensi pengabdian ini terletak pada kondisi literasi dan numerasi siswa yang masih perlu ditingkatkan, ditambah dengan potensi kearifan lokal yang belum optimal dimanfaatkan dalam pendidikan. Melalui pendekatan ini, guru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan merancang pembelajaran yang bermakna bagi siswa, terutama pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan lingkungan dan budaya disekitar mereka. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar di Nagari Pagaruyung, Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Provinsi Sumatera Barat, dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal yang relevan dengan budaya dan pariwisata daerah ini. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahap: pra-kegiatan, pelaksanaan, dan pasca-pelaksanaan. Pada tahap pra-kegiatan, tim pengabdi melakukan observasi lapangan, koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah dan masyarakat, serta studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi kearifan lokal yang relevan. Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi seminar untuk guru-guru tentang pemanfaatan kearifan lokal sebagai strategi pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi, serta pelatihan membuat rencana pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Minangkabau. Tahap pasca-pelaksanaan berfokus pada evaluasi dampak kegiatan melalui pengumpulan data dan umpan balik dari guru. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran literasi dengan nilai sebesar 8.02 dari 10 dan numerasi dengan nilai 7,73 dari 10. Pelatihan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru secara drastis, terutama pada aspek penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis budaya lokal, peningkatan sebesar 56,7% (n=41) dan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis kearifan lokal, peningkatan sebesar 53,05% (n=41). Pemahaman yang baik mengenai literasi dan numerasi berbasis kearifan lokal memudahkan guru untuk menerapkan, menyusun, dan menggunakan bahan ajar yang relevan.
