Abstract

Anak dengan leukemia sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan psikososial yang mempengaruhi proses adaptasi di lingkungan sekolah. Rendahnya literasi kesehatan mengenai leukemia juga dapat menimbulkan stigma dan menghambat berkembangnya sikap empatik di kalangan teman sebaya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap empatik siswa sekolah dasar terhadap anak dengan leukemia melalui program edukasi psikososial berbasis sekolah. Program dilaksanakan pada 74 siswa kelas V menggunakan pendekatan edukasi interaktif yang mencakup penyuluhan, diskusi, permainan edukatif, refleksi, dan media visual. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur pengetahuan tentang leukemia, pemahaman dampak penyakit, sikap empati, serta sikap penerimaan dan anti-diskriminasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pada seluruh indikator, meliputi pengetahuan sebesar 48,7%, pemahaman dampak leukemia sebesar 66,2%, sikap empati sebesar 59,5%, serta sikap penerimaan dan anti-diskriminasi sebesar 60,8%. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan literasi kesehatan, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan edukasi penyakit dengan penguatan empati, penerimaan, dan perilaku inklusif melalui pendekatan psikososial berbasis sekolah. Pendekatan tersebut menjadi nilai tambah program dalam mendukung terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang lebih ramah dan suportif bagi anak dengan leukemia.
