Pelatihan First Aid For Sports Injuries pada KSR Palang Merah Indonesia Kabupaten Kebumen

First Aid For Sports Injuries menjadi hal yang sangat penting bagi atlet untuk meminimalisir dampak cedera yang terjadi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anggota KSR PMI Kabupaten Kebumen terhadap First Aid For Sports Injuries secara teori dan praktik dilapangan, kegiatan ini dilakukan di kampus Universitas Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen. Kegiatan diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan anggota KSR PMI Kabupaten Kebumen, pembuatan materi pelatihan, pembrian pretest, penyampaian materi teori dan praktik, posttest dan evaluasi. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan sebanyak 57 Mahasiswa aktif sebagai anggota KSR PMI Kabupaten kebumen yang berasal dari kampus Universitas Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen, Universitas Putra Bangsa, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong, Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Indonesia, dan Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen. Data pre test dan posttest dianalisis menggunakan uji indepenedent t-test dan uji efektivitas untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman peserta pelatihan. Hasil uji independet t tes menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest sig.0.00 <0.05, dan nilai rata rata tersebut memiliki selisih sebesar 35.89. sedangkan untuk tingkat efektivitas dari pelatihan dengan metode teori dan praktik studi kasus langsung sebesar 65.5%. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan kombinasi teori dan studi kasus pada First Aid For Sports Injuries dapat meningkatkan pemahaman teori dan praktik, yang diharapkan menjadi bekal pemahaman anggota KSR PMI Kabupaten Kebumen menagani cedera ketika di amanahkan menjadi tim medis pada event olahraga mendatang.
