Edukasi Tentang Makanan Ultra Proses dan Dampak Bagi Kesehatan

Perubahan pola makan modern telah meningkatkan konsumsi makanan ultra-proses (ultra-processed foods/UPF) di kalangan remaja, termasuk di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA), yang berisiko memicu penyakit tidak menular dan gangguan kesehatan mental. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi gizi dan kesadaran remaja binaan di LPKA Kelas II Bandar Lampung mengenai bahaya UPF. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 117 remaja usia 12–18 tahun. Metode yang digunakan meliputi edukasi partisipatif (ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan praktik membaca label kemasan) serta pemasangan poster edukatif. Evaluasi dampak dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan (p<0,05), dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 58,2 menjadi 78,6. Sebanyak 82,3% peserta mengalami kenaikan skor?20%, dan 76,5% peserta menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pemilihan makanan sehat. Meskipun indikator keberhasilan tercapai, tantangan keberlanjutan perilaku masih terkendala durasi kegiatan. Direkomendasikan adanya kolaborasi berkelanjutan dengan pengelola konsumsi lembaga untuk menyediakan pangan sehat serta pendampingan rutin bagi anak binaan.
