Transformasi Kemandirian Pembudidaya Ikan Melalui Penerapan Teknologi Induce Spawning Di Desa Wanatirta, Brebes

Kemandirian pembudidaya ikan merupakan faktor penting dalam penguatan ekonomi perdesaan dan keberlanjutan sumber daya perikanan. Desa Wanatirta, Kecamatan Paguyangan, Kabupaten Brebes, merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan aktivitas budidaya ikan air tawar yang cukup tinggi, namun menghadapi kendala rendahnya kemampuan pembenihan mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mentransfer teknologi induce spawning (pemijahan buatan) pada ikan lele (Clarias sp.) dan nilem (Osteochilus hasselti) untuk meningkatkan kapasitas teknis dan kemandirian pembudidaya. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan teknis, dan pendampingan dua siklus pemijahan menggunakan hormon Ovaprim. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, dan pengamatan tingkat pembuahan serta penetasan telur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dengan rata-rata mencapai 45%, dan keberhasilan dalam pembenihan ikan lele serta ikan nilem melalui pemijahan induksi. Keberhasilan pembuahan mencapai 91% pada lele dan 88% pada nilem. Peserta mampu melakukan pemijahan mandiri pasca-pelatihan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi induce spawning sederhana dan tepat guna dapat mentransformasi kemandirian pembudidaya melalui peningkatan kemampuan teknis, efisiensi biaya, dan penguatan kelembagaan kelompok.
